The Marriott Breadsall Priory Hotel is the oldest Marriott in the world with the rooms dating as far back as 1260! In order to bring this stately home into the 21st century the resort was given a large refurbishment costing nearly £2 million in 2013. Breadsall Priory golf resort is full of modern amenities and featuring two 18 hole Championship golf courses - The Priory Course and The Moorland Course.

The Resort which is near to the Peak District is set in a beautiful 300 acre estate. The guest rooms are comfortable and well decorated featuring tea and coffee facilities, wi-fi, a safe and 24 hour room service. The hotel has a spa, fitness centre, and a heated indoor pool. Not to be missed out is the excellent Cast Iron Grill which is located in the old wine cellar.

Marriott Breadsall Priory golf holidays pride of place is the two 18 hole golf courses on site; the Priory course and the Moorland course.

The Priory course is the number one course at Breadsall Priory golf breaks taking advantage of the crisp landscape to coerce golfers into needing accurate shots as opposed to distance. The Priory course was designed by David Cox and opened in 1977, featuring narrow tree lined fairways and sloping greens requiring great accuracy to have a good round. An 18 hole par 70 parkland course measuring 6,120 yards that affords some rewarding views during your round of golf.

The Moorland course is a welcome variation during your stay and is a more open golf course than it's narrow older brother, whilst still awarding the same level of stunning scenery. The Moorland course was designed by Donald Steel and only opened for play in 1991, making Breadsall Pirory one of the few resorts in the area to have two 18 hole golf courses. An 18 hole par 70 heathland course measuring 6,100 yards from the back tees. As the course is more exposed to the elements so too are the sweeping views across the countryside this provides.
