The Golf Courses - East Sussex National Golf Holidays
The East and The West courses at East Sussex National golf resort are both Championship standard golf courses with a great reputation, both designed by Robert E. Cupp - a Jack Nicklaus architect. The practice facilities are second to none with a 13 acre open grass driving range, fairway and green bunkers, short game area and three putting greens.
The East course has twice played host to the European Open, as well as five European Challenge Tour events. A daunting test of golf from the back tee's measuring 7,138 yards, this 18 hole par 72 parkland golf course is not to be taken lightly, having been designed for Championship golf. The relatively open fairways can be misleading with well placed strategic bunkers being in play on many holes.
The West Course was once for members only but is now open for all to be able to play. This 18 hole, par 72, 7,154 yards parkland course is known to be more scenic, but just as stern a test of golf. The fairways are narrower than the East course though the greens are just as well guarded by bunkers.
