About the destination

The 4* Village apartments at Praia D’El Rey Golf & Beach Resort are located very close to the coastline and beaches of Obidos. The resort boasts the Praia D’el Rey golf course on-site and a complimentary shuttle available to West Cliffs. The golf courses offer a fantastic mix of links and parkland golf and are perfect courses to add to your Portugal golf holiday itinerary.

The apartment complex are set within gardens and cobble stoned paths in typical Portuguese style. There are a variety of accommodation options available from one bedroom apartments to four bedroom villas. Each apartment or villa comes with a fully equipped kitchen, air conditioning, satellite TV and a balcony or terrace. There are 4 restaurants and a pool bar on site at the resort to take care of all your refreshment needs. Make use of the gymnasium, tennis courts, Turkish bath, heated indoor pool and treatments available during your stay.

The Golf Courses - The Village Praia D'el Rey Golf Break

Praia D’el Rey golf course can be seen as being split into two sections, with the front nine playing as a woodland course with the pine trees a constant throughout. Whilst the back 9 plays much more like a typical links course that runs alongside the Atlantic ocean. A course that features deep troublesome bunkers and undulating greens to make the accuracy of your approach shot really count. An 18 hole, par 72 parkland course designed by Cabell Robinson in 1997 that measures 7,053 from the black championship tees.

West Cliffs golf course is part of the Praia D’el Rey Resort and is the latest addition to Portugal's top class golf courses and has made its way proudly in to being one of the best golf courses around. A unique course that combines sand dunes and vegetation to separate the holes. Hugging the coast line provides some mesmerising views out towards the Atlantic ocean. An 18 hole, par 72 links course designed by Cynthia Dye Design that opened in 2017 and measures 6,982 yards from the black tees. Each hole is extremely different to the last and provides you with a new set of challenges.
